The Republic of Singapore is an island city-state in Southeast Asia. With one main island and 64 outer islands, it has the second largest population density in the world with around 5.7 million people. With a multicultural constitution, the diversity of cultures is evident in housing, education, politics and food. There are four official languages in Singapore, Malay, English, Tamil and Chinese.

Charm in the tropics!

Singapore has immense charm with colonial, Indian, and Asian inspired architecture, temples, food and shopping! This cutting edge, vibrant country has evolved into one of the most important finance and trade centres in Asia.

Although Singapore does have a high cost of living, it is a safe, clean and efficient country, where getting around is easy and education and shopping hubs are central to local transport of rail or bus.

Singapore is not just home to luxury hotels, exquisite dining experiences and shopping malls; it has a rich history and diverse ethnic districts to enjoy alongside glorious gardens, public spaces and family friendly attractions.

Although a luxury hotel,  The Marina Bay Sands, the observation deck is open to the general public and the water light show set to music is a must- held on the front steps in the evenings.

Gardens by the Bay is iconic! The Super Tree Grove (Tree of Life) are futuristic structures that light up in the evening to transform the Bay East Gardens. The gardens host two  (2) Cloud Domes, where you can see the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and take a step back into time of prehistoric plants.

Visit the world’s best rainforest zoo and visit the wildlife by day, on a night safari or by river safari. The zoo hosts breakfast with the orangutans and has beautiful, lush vegetation and habitat space.

Singapore’s Chinatown is authentic in its food, bright red lanterns, shopping and divine Sri Mariamman Hindi temple. The Bugis district has some of the best bargains and markets that Singapore has to offer with an Indian flavour.

If you are craving some fun, sand and action head to Sentosa Island. Alongside beach volleyball and kayaking, Sentosa Island hosts an Underwater World aquarium and Universal Studios. The thematically designed park transports you through New York City, Hollywood, Madagascar, Ancient Egypt and fiction based destinations such as Shrek’s Far Far Away and the Lost World.

Once known as Singapore’s Productivity and Standards Board, PSB Academy is known today as “The Future Academy”, with an approach to education that focuses on what really matters: performance in the New Economy.

In 2017, the Academy was granted “Education Institution of the Year” by APAC Insider and earned 2 consecutive SBR National Business Awards in 2017/18 in the Education category for preeminent work in the region.

Today, we host over 12,000 students, more than 50 nationalities with our slate of certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes every year.Students from the Academy have excellent graduation outcomes: in 2015, Around nine in 10 local/ international students found permanent and temporary employment within six months of graduation.

PSB Academy’s STEM field hosts our faculties of Engineering and Technology furthermore as faculty of Life and Physical Sciences. Dedicated to studies in science, technology, engineering and arithmetic, our STEM field can host upgraded laboratories and facilities for learning, experimentation and discovery.
